Internship Program
At QAPCO, we believe in nurturing the next generation of talent by providing students with valuable real-world experience in a dynamic industrial environment. Our Internship Program offers university and high school students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge, gain practical insights, and explore potential career paths within Qatar’s petrochemical sector.
The program is typically held during the summer period and is open to both Qatari nationals and non-Qataris currently studying at universities in Qatar. We also welcome high school students for shorter work placements that introduce them to professional life and help them develop essential workplace skills.
Priority is given to QAPCO family members and students from partner universities in Qatar, with a limited number of additional placements available for students from other institutions—particularly those pursuing degrees in engineering or related technical fields.
Are you eligible?
Fields of study eligible for the QAPCO Internship Program include:
- Engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical, industrial)
- Information Technology (IT)
- Safety and Firefighting
- Finance and Accounting
- Environmental Sciences
- Chemistry
- Business Administration
Our interns gain first-hand exposure to QAPCO’s operations, guided by experienced mentors who help them bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application.
