Doha, Qatar – Collaboration with the educational community is one of the most important aspects of QAPCO’s Qatarization strategy as it provides an excellent way of promoting the company’s name within University’s, Colleges and Schools and will attract more Qatari Nationals to join QAPCO.
As part of this strategy a team from our Strategic Qatarization Department led by Mr. Abdulrahman Sultan Al Darwish, our Strategic Qatarization Manager, along with two Qatari Ambassadors Mr. Fahad Faleh Binghorab and Mr. Ali Yousef Al Janahi recently delivered a presentation to 125 students from Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School.
The theme of the presentation was linked to QAPCO, its products and the opportunities available for further study and careers within the Industry. As well as highlighting how important environmental factors are to the future of Qatar.
Opening the event, Mr. Al Darwish, thanked the School Principal for allowing QAPCO to visit the school saying “We are constantly trying to improve the education of our Qatari students and one way to achieve this is to follow a proactive strategy of visiting schools to encourage them to learn more about the Energy Sector.
This requires a mutual approach between Schools and Industry that will match academic qualifications to real-life work skills and jobs in the Industry. That is why we are so pleased to visit the school as it will provide some great experiences for their students”.
