QAPCO Celebrates Business Continuity Awareness Week 2021

Doha, Qatar – The Business Continuity Awareness Week, an annual global initiative, represents an opportunity for people to learn more about, and understand, the importance of effective planning to an organization’s operational resilience. 

2020 Business Continuity Awareness week ran from 31st May to 4th June, with the theme of ‘We are stronger together’.

The annual BCAW was launched with a message from the MD&CEO, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mulla, who thanked all our teams in QAPCO who strive every day to ensure business continuity and minimize the impact on business operations during these challenging times.

He also appreciated our employees who have embraced and taken ownership of QAPCO’s Coronavirus organizational preparedness. He also emphasized that ensuring QAPCO’s business continuity readiness is everyone’s responsibility and that each of us should adopt good business continuity practices in our daily work and think about how we can improve QAPCO’s preparedness.

For the occasion, QAPCO’s campaign covered a range of activities such as daily business continuity alerts, screen savers and a competition aimed at acknowledging and appreciating the collaboration across departments, disciplines and value chain which helps to build and implement resilience within our organization.

Thirty-Seven (37) entries qualified to the final round and three winners were selected. We are delighted with the level of participation as well as by the business continuity success stories that were shared.
